The IPL process uses intense pulsed light to gently remove unwanted hair by delivering a beam of light to the core of the hair follicle and destroying it. With the IPL’s wide beam, you can effectively treat a larger area at one time rather than treating one hair at a time.

For the hair follicle to be completely destroyed, it must be in the growth cycle. Since some follicles will not be in this cycle, three to four treatments spread four weeks apart will be required.
